The voices of Shadow and Cloud,
Thick now with the essence of loud.
Babble, burble, bubbling brooks
So many choices, so many books.
A simple children’s rhyme I once knew,
About the armies of man, marching two by two.
The voices of Cloud and Shadow,
Mixed with dread and wickedness
Shower me with unkind harmonies.
The world I knew once before this day
Is now not even close to what I would call
Being the the armies of man, marching two by two.
